A massive crash, or PvP Nirvana.
You see why even I, a harmless carebear who wants to PvP, is going head-over-heels over this -

Okay, seriously, not funny having to get to #1, fail at login because of stupid lag, and get booted down the list to 1200+
/petition to extend Armageddon Day to 48 hours. Nobody's going to be able to get in under 24 at this rate. -

Edited by: Kazuma Saruwatari on 16/10/2007 17:15:34 I only lasted in the server for max 30 mins. Not enough time to get to where the action is, buy the stuff from the market, fit ship, and go out and pewpew.
I only got halfway through the mods I need too
Long story short: NEED MORE TIME INGAME! -

Edited by: Kazuma Saruwatari on 16/10/2007 17:35:29 a lot of people gave up their responsibilities for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have super characters and pewpew without consequences for once CCP.
Coupled with the fact that you only let 754 of the 40k accounts in, well, I dont know about you but that just screams foul for anyone.
I was even let in, only to be shown the door 30 mins in. I didnt even get to fit a ship.
I sincerely hope that you reconsider the current 24-now-19 hour Armageddon day and give others who gave up a lot to try this once-in-a-lifetime shot. -

What's there to say ?
That we felt used? And do note we are paying customers after all. -

Mindstar, I think its a bit too late for talk about SiSi's status right about now.
Take a look at the past couple of pages. You'll see why. -

Wow, I'm sorry if I've not kept up with the news, but who the **** died and made you ruler of our gaming lives? -

You all knew SiSi is not TQ. SiSi can, at best, handle around 1k people before it implodes, if even THAT much. You all knew everyody and their dog will WANT to log into SiSi. You did the same, didn't you ? The OP announcing the event clearly states the purpose of the event was to test the SOL/proxy servers.
Nowhere there does it say "we guarantee everybody will be having fun". It says "We are looking into some issues that have been occurring with our proxy servers, so we would very much appreciate as many players to participate as possible". Have you participated ? GOOD. One good deed for you today. Helping out with the test was pure volunteer work.
HAVING A GOOD NUMBER OF PEOPLE FROM TQ COMING OVER ON SISI FOR TESTS AND ALL WORKING FINE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACHEIVE If you feel "used" or "cheated", you have clearly misunderstood the announcement wording. And CCP can not be blamed for THAT... but still, everybody does it.
It doesnt say anything about "volunteering". If you actually read it right, it already sounds too good to be true. We fell for it hook, line and sinker? Fine with me personally, but cmon, I'm in for 30 minutes then BAM I'm kicked off and I hear other people on my TS still playing.
Aggravating? You ******* bet it is.
Oh, lets not forget about the many others who fell for it, and did not actually log in properly. How would they feel? -

Thankfully I was only less than 10j from all the action when my character was mirrored. I wanted to use my name-alt, but meh, at least this way my main can be seen pewpewing in delight -

Oh god, I relog and I find myself earlier in time. I'm so far away from all the action now...
Heard creating a new cahracter on SiSi will get me super SP. I hope this works. -

I'm in the same timezone as some aussies, and I can tell you this is my 4th (soon to be 5th hopefully) successful login. I'm just hoping I dont have to wait much longer because a fresh character does not give you super SP. Bring your mains.
Its going to be a long 20+ jumps... -

Even though trying to get in to just enjoy the supers was tough, at least some people got to enjoy a lot of capital fights, and also a personal goal for myself was to fly the ships I've been aiming for in actual combat.
Both did not dissapoint.
Great idea on making supers, CCP. Its not only a great way for us to actually "taste our first candy", its also a great learning tool/experience for those who havent flown ships they always wanted to fly.
*silently slips a suggestion note of making this a regular occurence * -
